Light Body

From the Highlands of Guji to the Valleys of Cerrado

Qamar Blend is a light roast inspired by brightness — both in cup and spirit. At its heart are heirloom Ethiopian beans from Guji’s high-altitude farms (1,850–2,100 MASL), grown under forest canopy using traditional intercropping. These beans bring vivid citrus and stone fruit notes, forming the aromatic core of the blend. To balance this brightness, we’ve added washed Mexican Bourbon and Typica from the mountain cooperatives of Chiapas (1,300–1,750 MASL), contributing structure, balance, and a silky body. Finally, Brazilian beans from Cerrado (900–1,400 MASL), pulped natural processed, add a base of gentle sweetness and soft cocoa undertones.

The result is a light-bodied, fruit-forward cup that remains grounded and approachable — layered with freshness, clarity, and a quiet depth that lingers like moonlight.

Beans Sourced from Mexico

In the forested highlands of Chiapas, Bourbon and Typica varietals are grown by cooperatives committed to environmental sustainability and traditional washed processing. Cultivated at 1,300–1,750 MASL, these beans provide a clean, structured profile with mild acidity, gentle chocolate notes, and a silky mouthfeel. Their balanced clarity and elegant structure bring harmony to Qamar's vibrant Ethiopian core.

Beans Sourced from Ethiopia

From the high elevations of Guji, these Ethiopian beans are cultivated by smallholder farmers using traditional intercropping methods in nutrient-rich soils. Grown between 1,850–2,100 meters, these heirloom varietals are naturally processed, enhancing their vibrant fruit character and floral complexity. The result is a lively, expressive component with notes of stone fruits, citrus, and jasmine, giving Qamar its bright and aromatic personality.

Beans Sourced from Brazil

From the sun-drenched plains of Cerrado, these Brazilian beans grow between 900–1,400 meters on estates known for precision agriculture and dependable quality. Processed using the pulped natural method, the Catuaí, Catucaí, and Mundo Novo varietals contribute depth, body, and mellow sweetness. With flavor notes of soft cocoa and toasted nuts, they provide the grounding base that completes the blend — subtle, comforting, and reliable.
